creative risk has had a bit of a perspective shift for me, in that it's become more a feeling of freedom. It has started to become a thought of "what could this lead me to?" and that's exciting. I want to be thrilled and surprised walking into the studio the next morning after a a painting session. It may look a bit like a romanticized view of creative risk, but it works to get me to that space. In saying that it took a lot of 'bricks' to get there.
